New York City is one of the most culturally and demographically diverse cities in the world. In many cultures, including my own, we call people outside our family “aunties” and “uncles,” underscoring a strong sense of community. Everyone has the right to access abortion freely and peacefully, without protests or interference, ensuring that socioeconomic factors are never a barrier to essential care.

Zhi-fang Li is a Brooklyn-raised Hakka artist, designer and scholar. Drawing from her personal history, she explores the relationship between traditional and digital culture, especially in regards to diaspora, critical race theory and post-colonial theory. Currently, she is bringing over 10 years experience in visual design and art direction as an Assistant Professor at La Salle University’s Digital Arts (DART) program in Philadelphia; and is the Education Director for AIGA Philadelphia.
