The Liberty Bell is an iconic symbol of American independence, located in Pennsylvania. This design responds to the harmful and sudden elimination of abortion from the court’s interpretation of “liberty,” protected by the 14th amendment. The Dobbs Decision is a devastating blow to human rights. We will not have liberty, until we have the right of self-determination over our own bodies once again.
Kathy Mueller is an award-winning designer, practicing and teaching in Philadelphia. She is a co-founder of the United States for Abortion, which aims to reflect Americans’ majority support for abortion rights using tee shirts created by designers from every corner of the nation. Kathy is an associate professor at Temple University Klein College of Media & Communication. Her design work has been recognized by the Art Directors Club, Type Directors Club, HOW International, PRINT, and others.
