Meaghan D

While Meaghan was nine months pregnant, Roe v. Wade was overturned by the Supreme Court. Knowing the intensity of pregnancy first-hand, she couldn’t imagine having this experience forced upon her. She was also pregnant with a little girl, and it broke her heart to picture her child growing up in a country where they might not have a say in what happens to their body. This design is meant to tell the government to keep their bans off our bodies.

Meaghan D (she/her) is a designer and educator based in Virginia. Her work centers on connecting communities through storytelling and immersive design experiences and by fostering collaboration between students, faculty, and industry professionals. Meaghan sees design as a tool for engagement, communication, and innovation.
